MAROCCO
I went to Marocco in the end of March 2012 for 9 days with 5 friends.
Marocco is a beautiful place for surfing, I met along the way friendly people, that lived in completly isolated place. In this country there is a different food than Italy, it's definitely more spicy, fruit and vegetables are incredible fresh and fish it was my favorite plate with fried squid, lobster, codfish. If you want taste tipical plate on your next trip you can try "tajine chicken"!
I met also foreign old people that they started business many years ago, they had build big resorts for reach people and they destroyed small business of local people.
If you look for rent an apartment, or room when you arrive in small village look for some local people that walking on the road and that they keep in one hand some keys. That means that they rent, and often prices are cheaper than hotel!

SURF TRIP & SURF SPOT
I rented a car from Casablanca Airport and I drove to the south. There are two different streets where you can drive on. Highway, really fast only 3 hours by car or coast road that I preferred but it's longer like 6 hours.By this way I could checked all spots for surfing. In the first part of the cost there where empty waves, point, beach break with nobody! It was unbeliveble, weather was warm around 22°C and water 18°C.

Best wave season: from September to February

Sidi Kaouki
Drive from Essaouira to the south for 25km, you arrive in this small, quite village.
There is a surf and kite schools where you can rent surfboard.
There are two different points on the main beach. One on the right near a small square where there are police station and three restaurant.
The other one on the left, you need to drive for 5 min. by car or walking, you can see the spot from the street. When you see a small river turn right, and you arrive in a perfect beach break.
